It's not technically such a bad idea. I heard some email clients like google are seriously implementing this. What you do is limit your email by certain hours. Like from 11pm-4am you have to click a special box or hold the message for 6 hours to allow you to fix it before it is sent.

I doubt lucky wants to code more stuff, but you could take the timezone and add a extra checkbox during those hours.
