I certainly make plenty of racist jokes on this site and push the envelope, but there is a limit - even I know that. Your comments were quite a bit rougher than these and the satire/parody/humor was not detectable by very many. Get over yourself and get back to being a contributing member.

The difference is mostly the intent in which a post was written. Almost anything can be seen as parody, but yours was very clearly not, and it didn't even try to say that all people are monkeys, which essentially is true.

I think it's fair to make jokes about damn near anything, and sure I'll make a racially based joke in the future too, but that one was not funny, just uncomfortable. I would think that there's a big difference between saying that someone doesn't have a soul and that someone is a monkey too, but that's just me.
As I remember you were not hobbled for that particular comment either, it was a slew of racist comments, which eventually got that done. I agree that it was over the top to hobble you, as it was with spooky blankfist too, but still you should have just said that they were just jokes and what not.

Both are patiently absurd statements to anyone with anny intellect. the fact is however that the video sift made a move to shakle/ban anyone that makes remarks that some members may not be able to identify as parody. If you are not consistent with your ruling then you make imposable for people to stick

With that statement you are stipulating that In order for a racist/discimatory joke to be funny you personally have to get it . The fact is some people did get what I said Its just the case that YOU personally didn't , you cannot use your lack of understanding of something as a justificatoin as to why something is bad / should be band. A real world example would be how the church Tride to ban Monty pithon film because they found it ofensive its quite likly that a majorty of people in the culture at that time found it offensive despite the fact that the film was actually just as funny as anything else from an objective view point.

I have not made anny racist comments ever , anny person that has asked my directly has gotten a state anser , Just because some people are dispropotoinalty preoccupied with racism on this site i dont see why i should have to keep exsplaing myself.
